Am I missing anything?

I've been toying with the layout of things for my sprite's engine bay. The regulator will not be used and the fuse panel will be moved to the interior of the car. I need more room (because of the supercharger) on the drivers side.

So here is my question. Is there any reason that I can not move the wiper motor to the passenger side? Anyone see any potential problems?

You might check and see if its on the other side on British spec midgets, and see how they did it. I know they only have the 2 wipers instead of our 3.

I wonder what would happen if you put a GT motor on your Midget on the opposite side?

My understanding of the wiper system is pretty limited (hence the question). But, in essence, it just moves the cable back and forth. So... would I end up with the wipers parked in the "up position"? Would it be easy to alter the park position?

It is easy enough to bend the arms to park on the right side.
Stick em in a vice and tweak them to where you want them.
This may or may not be needed depending on how the wiper rack works. But if it points in an odd spot, it's easy enough to adjust to a point.
But with the motor on the right side, right side parking wipers may be the way to go.
I had to do this on my right hand drive car because the sweep wasn't as good as it should be in the rain so I made them park right and just bent the stem of the arms to suit the offset.
The parking is a simple switch which is adjustable on the single speed motors but the 2 speed motors have a built in park via the switch (I think) You may want to go with a single speed set up.
