Am I going nuts?

I think he is dreaming.

Jack, that is actual bidding that has gone from about $35 at the initial listing up to that amount right now....these buyers are nuts!!! Someone is going to be paying that for those lenses!!! I am going back to see what it wound up at! Bidding should have ended now!!

Yup, someone with the ebay name of jamescarparts just bought those lenses for $101.01!!!Can that go in the record books along with Team Sprites car? At least that was worth every penny!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif

WOW!! I wish I had an extra set of originals. I would leave the repops on and sell the others!! hehehe

Miss Agatha is wearing orginals, the hole thing both sides, like new, ebay 60 bucks.

Tunebug's are originals as well, and I'm not selling!

Jack, did you buy those from the guy in England, (they were nice!)? Go buy some repros and sell your whole assemblies. At those rates you should be able to finance quite a bit more stuff for your little girl, and no-one will ever look close enough to notice the difference, hehehe!!!!! I just bought a pair of repro lenses (made in the USA, and in boxes that look old enough to be at least back from the sixties if not older!) and I paid $24 (including shipping!!) I guess in hindsight I got suchadeal /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif !

There ya go Mike.

Miss Agatha is not for sale. Not one little hard fought part of her. God, can you just think what she would say.

She was so happy to see me this morning she made a small spot on the floor. Hehe.

I am getting close, very close to haveing everything done that I can till I get more parts.

All works even at present except for fuel gauage.

When I went to start her yesterday there was this loud sound from the engine area. The heater fan was in the on position and I had forgotton I had wired it up when I installed it. Took about 3 sec to sink in. Anyway it works even if noisy, guess I will keep and eye out for a new motor down stream.

Now have running lights and turn signals all around.

Bonnet fits preaty good, a bit more adjustment there needed.

Hehe, I don't blame you one bit, my comment was more of a tongue-in-cheek thing /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif !! Sounds like real progress /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif ! I am disappointed that pesky fuel guage isn't doing the trick for you (just keep a dipstick in the boot, hehe!). Let's see a video of her in motion and hearing her purr!!!

I think I have some originals with the loom in a box.

hmmm, me thinkin.

Patrick
