Question concerning the aluminum trim piece referred to as
the "cap, door seal" -sits at the top edge of the door and
is meant to cover the end of the door seal by the top frame
post attaching hole. Know that's all a mouthful but trying
to figure out if this is supposed to attach to a small
wood block or what as if I use it as intended, the majority
just hangs out over the door seal and has no place to attach. I have tried to come up with a photo and the best
one I have found is from the 100-6 calender put out by the
Austin Healey Club this year. Anyone know how it is supposed to attach ? Thanks,Mike (Big Healey Source)

There is a small wooden block, covered in upolstery with one screw down the center holding it in place. The aluminium finisher piece attaches to the wooden block and the furflex top end is held in place by the finisher.

Thanks Bighly - that makes perfect sense and will sure
finish that area off nicely !
Regards,
Mike
