TR5/TR250 Aluminum oil galley plug

I finally got my engine back from the machine shop (4 months) Starting the reassembly. I removed all the plugs on the block. I can not find any information on the proper way to install the aluminum plugs at the rear and the front of the engine block. What sealant do I use or any help will be appreciated.

I was surprised when I installed mine that they did not tighten as they went in like I thought they would. They would continue to screw in till they blocked the first passage. I used plenty of permatex thread sealant and hit the last couple threads on the plug with a punch. That way the plug locked itself when it reached flush. I used a hacksaw to cut the plug off and filed it flush. For insurance I gave it a couple staking punches across the threads.
