So I have decided to go mostly aluminum on my 62 rally recreation . The wings that came off it were beyond help and the doors could be fixed but by the time they are reskinned and frames fixed may as well just gone with new so Aluminum doors it is .
Anyone else gone all aluminum on there rebuilds ?
Any horror stories about fit of aluminum replacement wings/doors etc .

They all need work to fit properly, never a r and r process. Dave's a good source, he supplies a lot of the top shops in the UK.

But very few are capable of working aluminum in the event of damage.
