I believe you could put aftermarket aluminum fenders on the car making its outer skins all aluminum.

I just sold a set of rear aluminum fenders for a big healey so that fact is true. Years ago I was told of an all alum healey. It was a wild goose chase. AS Healey Z said, it was thought to have an all alum body because of the shrouds on the car.

I believe the works rally cars had, in addition, "aluminium" doors, boot lid and fenders/wings.
