Alternative Distributor Cap

I am looking for a readily available top-entry distributor cap for a BT7 with a DM6 distributor. I was told the cap for a TR6 is a common substitute. I looked at one at my local parts store, but it doesn't look like it will work, without modifications at least. Will the TR6 cap work? If not, what do other people use, other than a specialty cap?

I got my top-loader Cap from Jeff at Advance Distributors complete with a wire set. Also, he sells the "good rotors". I'm not sure what other car(s) it fits. His price was very good and competitive with other vendors.

Don't believe there are any top-entry caps for the earlier DM6 distributors. The TR6 cap fits the late BJ7-on 25D6 distributor.
