The engine and transmission are next, hopefully next weekend. Thanks for all the advice along the way. Not bad, 3 weeks to get it to this point, working mostly at night and a couple of Saturdays....

So what's the schedule for getting her back together? Going for a Summer '06 completion, or taking it slowly and going for '07?

Sam,

It's totally dependent on funds...if I get a descent Xmas bonus, it will be 06..if not, 07!!

Mark,
Best of luck on your timeline. Mine starts saturday. I'm going to get my TR2. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
With luck I'll have it roadworthy by next Sept. for the Watkins vintage race. It's "not bloody likley" but I can dream can't I?
With my budget, we're talking more like 08 or 09 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif

Banjo,

My brother in law who is an expert with a MIG welder has offered his services to fix the sheet metal on the car. This will definitely move the timeline to the left!! Can't wait to see pictures of your new toy.

Sunday my friend, sunday.
From the pics I've seen so far I can leave my mig in the corner on this one. (lucky, lucky)
You can bet on a pile of Pics as soon as shes safely home.

Banjo,

You've probablly posted this in another thread, but what is the comm number and mileage on your 2?

Thanks,

Comm # is TS5012LO
That puts the production in late '54 (after the long door, but before the bigger rear brakes)
I have no idea of the mileage. It looks a lot like your car right now.
I'm buying a rolling shell and boxes of parts.
Look out AMT.
