Hello,
My name is Dave, and I am proud to be a new British Car owner. My car arrived Friday, May 4 at 1:45 and I have been in bliss ever since. I purchased a TR3B, commission TCF 120L, and I am just starting to learn about my new toy. Any and all advice will be appreciated. I will start searching the archives here before asking questions.

I am looking forward to learning a lot here.

Thanks for allowing me to join.
And thanks to Tom for directing me here!

Hi Dave, glad to have you aboard! The TR3 sounds like a great little car! I've always loved the low-slung doors on those! Be sure to post some pictures in our Picture gallery (link to Member's Picture is in the "Member Links" box on the left or under the Member Links drop-down menu above). You can also upload a picture or to in a post in the Triumph forum if you like!

Basil,
Thanks for the welcome. I do not have too many photos yet, but I hope to get a few taken in the next couple of weeks and I will be proud to post them. I do have a couple of photos on my newest page on my web site which can be accessed through my signature.
Thanks again...

Dave - welcome to the family. I just got home from Sturbridge Village and see you're "here" now. Great to have you with us!

Tom
PS - sheep got loose. Took nearly an hour to get 'em all back in the pen!

Welcome Dave:

Nice slot car track. My Mini-racing pal, Bruce, has a nice basement track here in Andover (NJ). Great fun!

There is a nice Brit-car show coming up in Clinton NJ (I forget the date, but I think Bruce B. will know).

If you are free on one of the dates in ~This Link~, give me a holler and maybe we can give that old TR a nice parade lap around Pocono.

I had a TR3 in '69. I *still* miss it!

Thanks for the welcome and the invite aeronca65t.

I have not been at Pocono for years, but I did freelance for the Easton Express as a photographer at a couple of the Schaefer 500's in the early days of the track. I did not get back much once they discovered that I had renewed the press credentials but the paper was no longer using my film...but that is another story.

Russ,
Thanks for the advice and welcome. I drove through Effort many times when I was going up to the races at Pocono. I need to take the time to transfer my negatives to the computer one of these days. Hope we meet up in person soon.

Hi There Dave;

Russ writing from the Poconos:

I just was looking over your Website & Its just Great! Neat Cars; Neat Track; Neat Everything to include your new/old TR3B:

Today; I was at "Red Mill" and 1/2 of the cars did`nt show?

Looking forward to meeting with Yourself and Your TR3B next Sun @ Hellertown: We have a Nice Caravan in the making (So far approx 6-8 cars & growing):

See Ya All Later;

Regards, Russ

Dave, also congrats to your son on his Commission! My oldest just pinned on Captain a few days ago (God I feel old!) and is an Aircraft Commander on the KC-135 Tanker.

Basil
