Hello,
My name is Dave, and I am proud to be a new British Car owner. My car arrived Friday, May 4 at 1:45 and I have been in bliss ever since. I purchased a TR3B, commission TCF 120L, and I am just starting to learn about my new toy. Any and all advice will be appreciated. I will start searching the archives here before asking questions.

I am looking forward to learning a lot here.

Hi Dave, glad to have you aboard! The TR3 sounds like a great little car! I've always loved the low-slung doors on those! Be sure to post some pictures in our Picture gallery (link to Member's Picture is in the "Member Links" box on the left or under the Member Links drop-down menu above). You can also upload a picture or to in a post in the Triumph forum if you like!

Dave welcome..//likewise my current project vehicle
is a TR3...while it is a complete restorer I've done little to revive it ti it's former glory....as you'll notice it sits hidden in the very back of my pic..very under serving....keep us posted on your progress...Again WELCOME!
 
Great all British car show at Hellertown on June 10. I will miss it. Unfortunately another show same day at Northampton Community College.

Thanks for the welcome. I do not have too many photos yet, but I hope to get a few taken in the next couple of weeks and I will be proud to post them. I do have a couple of photos on my newest page on my web site which can be accessed through my signature.

Nice slot car track. My Mini-racing pal, Bruce, has a nice basement track here in Andover (NJ). Great fun!

There is a nice Brit-car show coming up in Clinton NJ (I forget the date, but I think Bruce B. will know).

If you are free on one of the dates in ~This Link~, give me a holler and maybe we can give that old TR a nice parade lap around Pocono.

I had a TR3 in '69. I *still* miss it!

I have not been at Pocono for years, but I did freelance for the Easton Express as a photographer at a couple of the Schaefer 500's in the early days of the track. I did not get back much once they discovered that I had renewed the press credentials but the paper was no longer using my film...but that is another story.

Thanks for the advice and welcome. I drove through Effort many times when I was going up to the races at Pocono. I need to take the time to transfer my negatives to the computer one of these days. Hope we meet up in person soon.

Dave, also congrats to your son on his Commission! My oldest just pinned on Captain a few days ago (God I feel old!) and is an Aircraft Commander on the KC-135 Tanker.
