All of a sudden I live in Florida! Recommendations for mechanics?

So last fall we were thinking about selling our 215 year old home in historic New Market, Md. Our realtor advised us to list it for a month or two, then pull it back off of the market and use the winter months to make improvements that we thought were need based on the feedback we got from the lookers we attracted, and then sell it this spring or summer. That seemed like a pretty good idea, so we listed it on a Thursday, had an open house that Sunday and sold it on Monday. So six hectic months later here we are, along with our BN4 and Bugeye, in The Villages, Florida. My question is can someone recommend a good Healey or LBC mechanic in the area for when I get in over my head (a common occurrence)! We're near Leesburg, Ocala and actually in Lady Lake.

by the way, HI DOC!!!! Aka kinda neighbor

Thanks,
Larry

Beware of old Army f*rts running around in Chilli Pepper skivvies!

You're OK then; Doc's an old Air Force fart.

Paul Tsikuris in Lakeland. Tsikuris Classics. Did the engine and tranny on my Healey almost 15 years before it got put in the car. Purred like a cat.

I've contemplated moving to warmer climates... The most temperate climate in Canada is the west coast on Vancouver Island... An old friend of mine grew up in Yellowknife (the far north!), and has now lived in Victoria, BC for many years as an adult... Enjoy your new digs!

I'm thinking that Randy is about an hour or so away. I'm pretty sure he hooked up with the Tampa AH club, which a couple of the local folks belong to:smile:

Welcome to Florida, Larry! You can now put a snow blower in your front yard and call it: "art"!

All good recommendations, the IE guys are probably the closest.

We're about forty miles down-stream from ya.

Hi Doc, I thought you were further away than that! Left the snow shovels with my daughter and son in law!
