WOW!

Mickey, Thanks for posting that! Nature is a beautiful site at times. We have the little humming birds all summer, the wife hangs out feeders for them and we watch them all the time. We also have a pair of barn swallows that built a nest just outside and above one of our kitchen windows, beautiful little creatures! I think babies will be coming soon. PJ

Everything's better in slow mo. 'Cept maybe falling.

Thanks for the posting. Well titled - Wings of Life.

We also have hummingbirds and have 2 feeders. They are very territorial and I've seen them attack the ravens who attack the coyotes. The ravens scatter when the hummingbirds go after them. We have a fountain in the front of the house and it attracks all kinds of creatures but the hours of 5:30 to 6:30 in the morning are for the hummingbirds only. I was amazed to see them stop their flight and actually bathe. I didn't think they ever stopped their flight except for maybe when they were hiding in the trees.
