that I can do without a few more bits.
Drives great, will lean out the carbs a bit, just a bit, when I get a few more miles on her.
Everything works, only the fuel gage needs looked after when the gas level gets down, however, it is working. I am just not happy with the wire from the sender.
Now find I spend a bit of time cleaning her, even if she isn't really dirty. Finger prints you know.
Need to find a product to polish glass, the windshield has some spots that need removed, oh yea Bartenders Friend, forgot that.
Been looking at and talking to chromeing places. Think I just may use one up in Knoxville, KY. They say rear bumperets at 40 to 70 bucks each depending upon condition, still messing with a ball park for the grill but condition is important of course. They do not charge you till the item is ready to ship back to you. Try this. https://mywebpages.comcast.net/knoxcustomchrome/
Actually the guy says they do anything steel.
There is going to be an antique car show just about 10 miles away next weekend. Shucks I'm not ready. No tags and a few bits needed. Wife will not let me tag it till it is finished. She knows what will happen. I'll start running her all over. hehe.
Oh yea, need to make a trip to the junk yard and find a VW Suroco (sp) donut spare. Understand the 13 inch one will fit the Bugeye.
Hay, I have even cleaned my tools and the box and such.
Look out dog it's time for a bath.
