Alfa 145 - loss of drive *DELETED*

Re: Alfa 145 - loss of drive

Welcome to the forum.
Your ALFA is not available in North America, so most of us here are not familar with it.
However, on most front-wheel drive cars, a sudden "loss of drive" would be caused by a broken constant-velocity joint ("CV joint"). There are two of these: one on the inner (gearbox) end of each halfshaft. If that is not the problem, it could be any number of things and would require a careful and complete inspection.

Re: Alfa 145 - loss of drive

I can't add much in the way of help with your Alfa, but can extend a hearty Welcome to this fine forum. Do keep us posted. This forum appreciates hearing from everyone, everywhere.
