This High Performance Driving School and race weekend is unique!!!

Street cars are allowed as students and lapping entrants. The school will build your driving skills with loads of classroom and track time. The only thing missing will be practice race starts and serious fender to fender competitive racing.

We've had drivers with everything from old Minis to new turbo Porsches, very slow street rentals to full race pro Mazdas, 19 year old college guys to 60ish ladies. If you like to go fast, want to do it legally, need to learn your and the cars limits better, Sandia's 14 turn 1.6 mile road course provides the venue and SWMS the training and expertise.

SWMS drivers school is instructed by a very experience cadre of SWMS, SCCA, BMW, and Porche racers. If nothing else, visit just to watch. As with all club racing events, workers are always welcome and invited. Free club membership for workers of 2 events. Pray for nice weather (2 years ago, the wettest weekend in NM history visited our first event)!
