On the bright side you see the beautiful scenery out the window. Stay home from work, wear cozy sweaters and pajamas. Turn on the fire place, snuggle all day with the wifey, drink hot chocolate, and watch movies. Later, raid the pantry with stored food for such a day as this! โ›„โ˜ƒ๏ธโ„๏ธ

Iโ€™m with Gatheringtree! Snow is simply beautiful.

Having said that, come March (February?), Iโ€™m ready for Dr. Entropyโ€™s climate!!

There were never any "snow days" there, going to a job regardless of the weather was expected. No way for this li'l duck to live. Especially after spending a year in Southeast Asia's climate and finding I thrived in it.

Yep, we have gas line in the fireplace. We could put wood to build a fire, but I take the lazy way out! I love being called young at 65 years old though! โค๏ธ

When we lived in Gross Pointe Park, Michigan for two years for medical clerkships, we loved the snow in winter. But everyone else who lived there permanently.... not so much! I was the odd ball there too. Our home was in south Texas at the time. Any snow that fell there melted very quickly. We got a day of it at most and it was not very thick. Not surprisingly I was awestruck by the deep blankets and waves of snow in the north. But I could also see their POV. They still HAD to get out and go to work! Not so in the south. One flurry of snow and all the businesses and schools shut down. It's an automatic holiday! So, that's really where I am coming from when I talk about it. Pay no attention to me!

Bas, how has the weather been this week?
