Pulling the air out of the 7.5. Who has done this and what should I be careful about?

I live in the NW. It isn't working anyway,I think. Takes up 2 much room in the engine bay. Can't even see the rack,I got one don't I?

I guess that you do. It will just ultimately add to the value of the car, so I'd leave it in.

Sounds like you don't need it. Pulling the A/C makes getting to the distributor clamp a BUNCH easier, as well as access to the power steering pump and the low temperature sending unit on the radiator. And you can pull the condensor - better flow through the radiator.

When you do remove it, just keep all the bits, in case you or someone else wants to replace it. Even if you leave it in there, it'll need refurbishing anyway - probably a new compressor and drier. Be sure to seal off the ports where the hoses enter and exit the evaporator under the dash.
