Pity you didn't keep that really nice blue OEM valve cover Shawn. That would have matched your electronic ignition boxes rather nicely with a little spit & polish.

Was actually thinking of painting a stock cover to match the car color. Taking inspiration from the Hot Rod crowd and what not.

Wow! What is that effecient-looking contraption
attached (or not) to the carbs?

GoodParts Ram Air with velocity stacks built into it. That one used to be his personal unit that he dynoed engines with until he made one with more volume to see if it made a difference or not. Never heard if it did or not.

Doesn't matter if it did or didn't. It looks great on your car and that's where it should stay.

Kodanja: I love the effect of exhuast swirling
about in your before pic. Good stuff.

Shawn: Would I rather have this or this?
I think I'd rather have that...and I think you can
guess which of the "this's" "that" is.

Surely you're with me, right?

This...

or this!
Whichever one starts and runs every day, instead of sitting in the garage waiting for me to work on it !

That's not exhaust..... it's Lucas™ smoke!

That wasn't his exhaust. It was his Crypty leaving early. Bill held a seance and expelled all demons before beginning restoration.

That was Dale's mistake. He waited too long.

Shawn & Paul,

I wish my car looked that good (I've seen Shawn's car
in person - Excellent!).
Paul,I need an 8X10 color glossy of that engine compart-
-ment - Beautiful!Mine is Yellow also.I guess that in a dark garage they'd look alike.

- Doug

Doug,

Mine has a red cylinder head which is probably the only difference at night.

You know what they say, "at 50MPH or 50 feet, we all look alike."
