I am searching for the wheel arch spacer (AHH5297) or the dimensions. I have tried the usual suppliers without any luck. I am currently restoring a BJ7 and I have found this forum an invaluable resource.
many thanks,
Greg

An internet search for that part number displays a small part for a MGA handbrake. Maybe some more hints would help?

It is the spacer which goies behind the fuel line clip on the lhs of the front inner guard. From all the diagrams I have seen it would be simple to make but just need the dimensions. I have attached a pic showing the clip.

Regards,
Greg

Sorry Greg, I don't remember the spacer, but since I'm not a concours guy I probably wouldn't worry about it anyway. If you are trying to achieve absolute original restoration I can under stand your concern. Other than that I would make whatever you want. My line probably isn't even in the exact spot anyway and I just bent it to suit. But if you want to keep looking for it, try Healey Surgeons down in the Maryland/DC Area. They usually keep a good inventory of not often needed stuff. Dave.

Put a washer behind it and be done with it ........oh wait the concours guys are going to be all over me for such a sacrilegious fix .........

I know this is an older thread and the OP probably made due by now, but I was just moving around my BJ7 today and noticed the spacer in place. This car is non-restored. There is no reason this part would be changed so I am sure this is original to the car. Here are the pics and it measures in at .255 with a slide caliper. So a 1/4 inch spacer would be correct enough.

Any good hardware store has them. I bought mine from a local hardware store and it matched the original. (I did not buy the white nylon one.)
