Just joined 5 minutes ago. Hi!

Have a Mk 1 Healey. 1960. Have a few bits and pieces to do to it yet but two pics below.

Lovely Healey, Kevin!

Welcome to the Forum!

Lovely car, Kevin!
And the overall picture is great too.

I spent my childhood in Kilkenny (my Mom's home...my Dad's from Cavan). But I've been in the US over 40 years now.

To be honest, when we go "home", we *never* see any interesting cars in Ireland...just all asian sedans and a Ford Ka here and there.

Are there many car enthusiasts like you? I've asked my relatives, but they're hopeless.

And,oh yes....Welcome! (or maybe I should say fearadh na fáilte ) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Welcome aboard Kevin. I've onlu been to Ireland once and that was just a short layover while flying to Greece. However, my Great Great Grandfather came to the US (1840's) from County Gallway (hope I spelled that right). My uncle went to visit that area and found some relatives and he said as soon as he met them he could tell we were related!

Welcome again - hope you enjoy our humble forum,

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif Welcome Kevin! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

You have joined the best LBC forum there is. Would chat longer but need to get showered and dressed so Agatha A Healey and I can go tooling here in the Land of Enchantment (New Mexico, USA) on what promises to be a grand day! Agatha is a 100-M and is all about driving. You have a really great looking Healey, the scenery isn't half bad as well.

Happy Healying!

Hi There Kevin,

A warm "Welcome" from the Pocono Mtns of Pennsylvania. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/savewave.gif

"Warm Welcome"? Its like a blizzard out here right now & temps are supposed to be in the single digits. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

What a great looking Healey and landscape! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Have Fun here;

Regards, Russ /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

Thanks very much, Mickey, Matt, Nial, Basil, Judow & Russ for the warm welcome. I hope I can contribute to the forum but I'm not a vociferous poster!

In reply to Nial, there's a new Irish Classic forum formed a few months ago here.

Cheers,

Kevin.
