So I dropped a length of 2X6 Trex (18') off the top of my Safari van a while ago. Smashed the side view mirror. Finally bought the replacement mirrors with built in turn indicators and the power for the adjustment has a different plug.

Lately every time I work on an auto project AARRRGGGG!!! :wall:

It looks like the pins are the same on both plugs. You should be able to back them out with a jewelers screwdriver and use the old plug on the new mirror. Try backing them out of the old mirror first, since that one is already buggered. Then you just need to figure out which wire goes where.

I am reminded of the wisdom imparted upon me by my late mother concerning her favorite hobby. She used to say that they called it golf because *&%# and @%$& were already taken. I am often reminded that like golf, the word "cars" contains four letters.

But then I'm reminded of the words in the movie Patton when the general walks the battle field: "I love it. G*d help me I do love it so."

Good luck!

Those pins DO look the same. I'd be tryin' what Greg suggests.

Keyboard:
A good soakin' in CAB will render it totally useless. Then you're FORCED to replace it.

The pins are so small I could not get anything in to release the pins. They said ship them back and they will change them.
