I know a few of you are in the same boat, but for some reason, this morning I found myself going back in time, recalling many things we have done over the years and relating them to the present day. Open wheel racing, aerobatic flying, motorcycles, oh my goodness, I've owned a few. My 55 TF is 71 years old; I never think about that when I'm driving it. When it was built, in 1955, I was just a kid in the Naval Reserve Blimp Squadron ZP753 at Lakehurst, New Jersey. Two years later, I met my future wife, and in two months, we were married in 1957 (69) years ago! They said it would never last!
We fooled them! The sad part is that in those many years, you lose so many friends that I miss dearly. Sorry for running off, my morning coffee is just starting to kick in, and getting back to somewhat normal! Ha.
