and driveing Miss Agatha for over 300 miles in the past couple of months I have come down to three items.
1. I need to pull the engine again and have the oil pump cover brazed to the back plate. Still leaks about two tablespoons of oil every time it is parked overnite after an outing. I am now convenced that it is oil leaking out of an unsecure pump cover when engine is running and then draining down the backing plate and out. It is always the same amount so must be a very small leak there and only when the engine is running. There is no way with the clearances I have that it is comming from the rear seal.
2. That I do indeed have a bit of air in the clutch line, golly knows I have blead it maybe 8 times and even took the line loose from the MC and the slave cylinder and blew it out to make sure it was not full of gunk. It wasn't. Pedal goes to the floor when trying to shift at high RPM and also does the same at other times but not often. I think the vibration of the engine causes the bubble to shift at times.
Barry has sent me an extra Speed Bleeder he had https://www.speedbleeder.com/ I think I am ready to give it a go again.
3. Attaching the door seals so they do not jump loose. Have a few clips on the way to see if that is the prob, if that does not work will glue them on with a bit of construction adheasive.
Now maybe I can move on to some other things like the yard and the garage floor.
