I've got one of those aluminium jobs without any baffle. I also run the dual Stromberg carbs, and have no problems with oil getting thru there.
I have a stock valve cover that is chromed that I picked up just incase there were any problems with the un-baffled aluminium cover. It's been a year or so now, and still no problems.
Now, had I not bought that stock chrome valve cover I'm sure I would be desperatly needing it. Is'nt that the way these things work?
