After 4 years and not being out of the garage the 6 got a bit of fresh air. it hadn't seen daylight since I backed it out of a different bay 4 years ago after sitting since 97 and washed it. Pushed it into a different section of the garage. Finally poured the driveway pad so now it can play out side too.

See this link For more garage photos. i actually was able to reposition the cars and sweep up a bit

You are on the fast-track.... My TR has been on the six-year restoration plan. Mine just got free of the garage about 3 weeks ago as I just pulled it out. I have yet to even drive it.
Have fun with your TR when it's complete :savewave:

Nice, Don. I need to do that with the Elan... Ooof.

I was beginning to wonder if that car really existed or was a fantasy.....

Paul, actually that's the neighbors car. Just had to continue the saga. Guess I was busted  :jester:

Now I am sick.....

I can barely fit in my garage with the car and tubs of spare parts and you have sooooooo much room in there.

And I've got to say that that color really looks nice. Brown is not a color that would come to my mind when I think of attractive shades, but seeing it all nice and shiny like that, it is really elegant looking! Nice!

Lookin' good!

Wow Don, way to go!

Your garage has more square footage than most homes
here on the island.

That nice brown color??

It cries out for some yellow and red colors somewhere!!

schweet !!!

dale

What's up with the towel on the front bumper?

You planning to "burp" the engine to start it???

the towel is for protection that I paid almost $800 to have them straightened and rechromed. Although it didn't help the front one, I got some paint remover (hot) on it. Talked to them and they will look at it.

The sq. footage of the shop is 700 and it connects to my regular garage which is about 625.Total footage is bigger than my first house.
Still not big enough. I am trying to talk the wife into a 20 X30 shop with a music room above for the daughter and her drums and guitars.

My wife and daughter hate the color. They call it baby sh.. brown. I want to change it to a color of my 73 Capri which was more of a metal flake.

Julian,

Don will have his turn again. We trade little quips back and forth to make sure that the other is paying attention.....

Now I understand why my car breaks down all the time.

I've only been repairing it for 2 1/2 years. :wall: :wall:

Thanks for the heads up Don.
Now I don't feel so badly about not attempting to test
drive it. I'll give it test drive after another 1 1/2 more
years of more parts and labor!!

<span style="color: #009900">Hey Paul !

I really did come close to gathering the courage
to attempt another test drive of the Crypt Car
today. Really, I did. The danged Koi pond took
hours longer then I expected to muck it out.

I turned the ignition key this past Friday and the
engine did fire up. Test drive? Maybe tomorrow.
The past 14 weeks have not brought much driving joy.

Dale,

Just a tip. It would be better to let it sit, than to continually start it without driving it and fouling the plugs. That also puts too much raw fuel into your oil when you run on choke and then during warm up.

Plan the time to drive it, then start it, warm up and drive it like you stole it.....

AMEN!!
