Very nice job. It looks fabulous. I really like those wheels. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

How much of a hassle was it putting on that Delco 10SI alternator??

Edit: Actually, it might be a 12SI alternator. It looks like it has the black plastic turbo type fan. Or, is the engine running and the fan is painted black? Hard to tell.

Beautiful cars! I must say, there's something about
that wellie, ya know?

Ain't nothing like off-frame. That's what it looks like
to me. Just too nice to be anything but.

It's like I'm a wanna be.

There is a right way and a wrong way to do any project.

You have most definitely chosen the right way. Congratulations!!

Thanks Guys for all the nice compliments.

martx-5, That is a standard Gm 7127-3 63amp conversion.
I had a Delco 12SI I was going to use, but it was pushing 105 amp and I didn't fill comfortable with that and the old wiring. The motor is running, and the fan is black.

2wrench, That is one of my regrets. I did not do a frame off. As Paul says, there is a right way and a wrong way,
and also an easy way and a hard way. In hind sight I think a frame on is the hard way if you want to do it right. We shall find out down the road. The other regret is the wiring. Wire with new for peace of mind.

Yes it has Matt. Started the restore about 5 years ago.
The only nut screw or bolt that was not touched are the tub to frame mountings.

Wow!

You do incredible work!

Can I bring you my TR4? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Very Sporty. Is the front valance suppose to be black or is it something you did?

HIs "blackout" is proper. Otherwise the grill looks a little "disjointed" as you can see the brackets behind it. It's not as critical on BRG or dark blue cars, but it's pretty necessary on a bright color. That'll be one sharp ride here shortly. Lookin great man!

That figures. More improperly done by the PO

I know it's been asked,is there a Triumph# for the black. There and on the back?

There was a 6-Pack mailing list discussion about this a few weeks back. The concensus was that it wasn't supposed to be but often looks better if it is.
