...the roadster is back to life. What a day. Here is what I had left to do.

Installed gas tank and fuel line.
Lower radiator hose.
Installed all clamps hangars and PECO exhaust
Oil cooler
Oil lines
Plugs
Wires
Shifter
Shifter Boot
Heater hoses.
Vacuum lines

I had my friend help me out and it was rough at first. You can see me tweaking the dizzy to advance the timing. I jumped a few times when the carbs belched raw fuel out. It smoked a little as I had oil in the cyls to make sure it was free. The other smoke that is all around is from the exhaust. The second video starts sounding even better and you can really pick up some of the sound from the PECO header and exhaust. I had it up on ramps and at the end of the day I finally dropped her down and pulled her out under her own power. The PO did not start her since August 1996. I cannot believe how great it sounds and runs. These engines are just amazing.

We tweaked the carbs together and he taught me so much. He's been doing this for about 40 years and the knowledge I picked up today is priceless.

I was wondering when you going to open the garage door!
Nice going Vince. It does sound like a monster!

I had a hose running from the tailpipe to under the door but it kept blowing off. Finally it was either cold or death so....

Congratulations, Vince! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif She sound like she is happy to wake up. You must be her Prince Charming!

Congratulations! Vince

I had the same feelings just the other week when I started my Abarth after 27 years.
