on this mini we just got do you think it would be an idea to put a hood scoop on to draw cold air into the air filter OR put a reverse scoop on to take hot air from the intercooler /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hello WW,

why would you want to put hot air to the air filter, the cooler the better, from a power point of view.

Thats what it is like now Alex with no scoop, the intake is right beside the intercooler so it would be drawing hot air, every thing is tucked under the fibreglass bonnet, so would it be better to draw the hot air off or add cold to the filter?
