Advice needed on Vespa 150 purchase

My biggest fear while on any 2 wheel vehicle is everyone else on the road. I guess you will stay off RT 22 and 78.

brooklands, nice scootabout!, only perhaps for the third time since ive been on on this forum do agree with doc.. :jester: "no extended" anything untill you got the engagement ring, all my buds that ride bikes and that have gotten mangled up doing so have told me they were most sure the driver of the oncoming car/truck/aircraft carrier etc. had seen and recognised what they the bike rider were wanting/attempting to do. :yesnod:

This will not be a highway vehicle at all. I got it for running errands around Allentown, and to ride the 4+ miles between home and America On Wheels museum. I probably will avoid most traffic areas and the higher speeds too. I have been pretty cautious when driving the TR3B as many drivers look right over it, so I plan to continue the same policy, even more so, on the Vespa.

7777's is right! Just remember, it's the driver you don't see that doesn't see you. And then again it's the driver that you see, and think you have direct eye contact with, who even acknowledges your presence, that thinks you are not really there. Take extra care when you are not having a good day, or having too good a day. Or any day. Mr. learnt by hospital stay -- elrey
