Anyone ever use Jeff at Advanced Distributors in MN?

Am considering purchasing a rebuilt and an electronic system.

I've used him for two distributor rebuilds with good results. Also good work from British Auto Electric on two others.

Had my dizzy rebuilt by Jeff at Advance. It's one of the best things I had done for the car. It runs better than ever.
You can't go wrong.

I've got a complete Pertronixs kit he set up for my Mum's Spitfire. Revolutionized the car when I put it in. I'll be buying all my future distributor based work from him.

I've got several of his distributors here in my cars....& right now, he's redoing my Corvette distributor......you can't go wrong with Jeff!

I had four MGC distributors done by Jeff....they transformed the cars; curved perfectly to the engine specs.

He also has GREAT quality points.

He is also a GREAT individual and a fun guy to hang out with..

I give him and his distributors two :thumbsup:

Jeff did the distributor on my 1962 Healey 3000 in the spring of 2007. In 30+ years of owning this Healey, it was the best money I ever spent on the car. Jeff promptly corresponded with me by e-mail, and I had the redone unit back to me (in Ohio) in less than a week from when I shipped it. No problems whatsoever since the reinstallation 2 1/2 years ago.

Dennis is correct -- you will have a "new" car in the process.

Jeff is extremely knowledgeable, and willing to share his knowledge by answering any and all questions you may have.

I have found his work outstanding, especially fair priced. And if you ever have any concerns about the operation or longevity of component worked on, he stands behind his work and will inspect and if necessary redo it,, great warranty(if any needed, most just user inexperience).

I'll put it to you this way, you'll swear it's not the distributor you sent him, and think it's a brand new unit :smile: inside and out, that puppy will be brand new. Jeff is good people, his work is outstanding, and I consider him a good friend, after you deal with him, you will too.

I just got off the phone speaking with him about my Corvette distributor...I forgot to put a new MSD coil in my box of parts (I'm supplying my parts because I want to do things a little differently)...he said he'd get a matching MSD coil locally & include it in the total....

If you want to know about him, just talk with him!

You will not be disappointed. He rebuilt my old TR3 distributor and the car runs like new. It was a points unit not Pertronix; Jeff can do either.

I don't need anything right now and I don't want to waste his time just to satisfy my curiosity. I'm sure his time is better spent rebuilding distributors.
