Adjusting BJ8 Doors

Has anyone any tips for adjusting BJ8 doors. I am right at the end of my restoration and having fitted the new door seals etc I am finding it impossible to get the doors to engage the striker plates despite having tried moving it to all sorts of positions. Is there any adjustment on the door hinge mountings or on the door shut mechanism?I have only been adjusting the strikerplate. At the moment the doors just don't close close enough into the body and the top of the door at the back join to the window is fouling the car. With the seals out it fits fine. Any ideas. Thanks again for any help.

Many thanks. Exactly what I needed. I am puzzled though that I did a forum search and even trawled through all postings and did not find this post. What am I doing wrong? I hate to ask advice that has already been provided.
Thanks Hans excellent reply.

My guess to what trips most people up is the date range on the lower right. It defaults to posts less than one week, so it won't find anything older unless you change it.

Not in terms of wrong, maybe in terms of different ;-)
In case of forums with many posts use Google ...

In most cases unless you purchased the door excluder material from McGreggor the bulb is too large. and causes this problem-Fwiw--Keoke
