Adjustable lever shocks

I was wondering if anyone was running the adjustable lever shocks from World Wide Auto parts, I'm considering purchasing them for my 1960 sprite but would like to get some feedback concerning strengths and possible weaknesses. I'll be using the car for road rallies, some autocross but also want to be able to drive the car around town which is why I'm considering the adjustable shocks.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I spoke with him on the phone and he sent me some more info on the adjustable shocks, they look great but I was just wondering if anyone had any first hand accounts of using them on their cars.

I have genuine Armstrong adjustable lever shock on the rear of my Midget H prod SCCA raced, they are very tunable. If you do autocross or other performance drivng, you might well benefit from them. However, with a 1/4 eliiptic car you might be better off in softening the rear springs before attempting to use tunable shocks, since many handling evils of the 1/4 elliptic cars are attributable to be excessively sprung rather than under or overshocked.

I'm going to soften the springs as well, I removed three leaves from the stock leaf springs(#4,6,9) which hopefully will be enough to soften them up.

I have seen Peter's adjustable shocks on a friends Bugeye.
Top notch stuff and the owner of the car loves them.
I have a set of Peter's "special" shocks on my Bugeye, he valved them to my driving habits.
Yup, he has ridden in my Sprite(s) a few times and came up with what he thought would be best for me.
He knows his stuff.
