Wendy has had enough of the Crypt Car
and it's bottomless pit of $$ demands.

Wendy demands her fair share or it's
The Crusher for sure.

Since it is bone chilling winter here in Bayamon,
we are heading south for a while to warm up.

See ya'll when we get back.

Is it adios because you're leaving the car or is the car going to be leaving you?

I'm sorry for you Dale. I'm here in Wisconsin with snow on the ground and temps in the teens. It's beautiful, the lakes have frozen over and I'm going to enjoy the fishing through the ice. I feel sad for you to be missing out on all that.

I agree with KC. We had a beautiful rain storm here this morning, which turned in to the most marvelous snow and sleet storm that you could ever imagine. It was perfectly timed to coincide with the morning rush hour and traffic was tied up on RT's 95, 195 and 295 effectively delaying commuters from up to 30 to 60 minutes in either direction.

Words cannot express my dismay in that you and Wendy had to miss this Dale. But rest assured, Mother Nature is one to disappoint us, so there will be many more opportunities for these same conditions over the next 3-4 months.

I'll be sure to keep you posted............

So true Bro... I wouldn't miss this for anything. I was in P.R. when I was in the navy. I'm so glad that I was there in the summer and RI in the winter. Good Ol Newport in the winter.

Hmmm...back in February 1969, my high school concert band flew out of NY to San Juan for a four-day band tour of the island. Oddly, none of us was upset about leaving a cold upstate New York for warm temperatures and chances to swim in the Carribean. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Recommendation:
Ship car north to miami while your away, for better access to a repair squad
Watch out for Mr Chavez in Ven.
Post "from the cockpit" or "off the transom" photos from sailing trip

KC, if you're ever back this way, I'll buy dinner in Newport or Providence. Your choice.
