Adhesive for seat padding

I have my seat backs, pans and frames nicely restored and ready to begin upholstery. I have NOS horse hair padding for the back side of the backs and the front/sides of the seat pans. I have have some 3M General Trim Adhesive 08088. Is that the proper adhesive to use in this application? Is this the proper adhesive for the spongy padding that goes on the front side of the back? ... for adhering the seat foam to the seat pan?
