Sounds quite reasonable actually...
Where was this again?

East Hartford, CT. https://www.newenglandchrome.com/

There's a complete rechromed MGA windshield frame all wrapped up in the trunk of my Ford that I have to drop off at Erik's tomorrow. I need to see him anyhow. He was going to finish the paint touch up of the engine compartment and get the new Optima battery bracket installed and finish the Masters headlamp and Spal wiring harnesses.

I want to be running for next weekend!!!

Cool - that one's getting added to the list of places to get stuff done. Thx.

Add these guys too. They did my bumpers and several other items. They are both priced the same and have decent lead times. All triple plate high quality work done on site.

I've seen both companies buffing the copper and it looks like a mirror before the nickel goes on and then that's buffed and the chrome goes over that. The important thing is that they both have highly skilled metal workers to straighten and fix any rusted areas like new, before any plating is done. There may be more people at Nu-Chrome. They are a bit bigger, but both are good as you can see.

Those look incredible Paul! You've convinced me, I'm going to have my valve cover rechromed while the engines being rebuilt.

Paul
Those are very very sharp. You have a great eye for detail.
