Wow, talk about beating a car down, maybe not my cup of tea, a little bit over the top, but a well done car no doubt, I'll take 35 psi hot at idle over 20 psi anyday, I have 1275 race engine that idle at 70-80 psi. A 1380 is a bore thing with a 1275, bout a .125" over if I remember correctly, you have to off center bore to get there, the stroke still remains 3.200". I wnt thru a Swiftune Road Rocket 1380 engine a customer bought not too long, I posted pictures of it here.

Other than that, how yall been doing:smile:

That's right! I had forgotten the 1380 was an overbore. (I think there is even a bit more available with an offset bore. Up to 1420 or so? Don't have The Book with me)

I was smitten with the stroker motors for a while, and they still get my heart pumping a bit. I'd love to try one of the 'smaller' kits in the Midget, but since I've grown up I have tried not to get too crazy with what is, after all, a daily driver for me.

Age is making me boring. No pun intended...

...and I agree about not knocking that car too much; a lot of good work there.
