We call that "Boat Beer" - when freeloaders
go to the lake & hang out on your boat,it's the free
beer that you hand out.
If they complain, let them buy their own.
Anyone remember Buckhorn Beer?I think it was 69 cents
a six-pack back in the days.

What about Regal Select? Back in the early 70s it was .99 a six pack

Nice work, Doc. Love the "stacking" effect. Is that self tought, or did you attend a specalized center of higher knowledge?

Self-taught... of necessity: NO room to do aught else!

Rumor has it there's a Lotus Elan in here somewhere as well. I have hope of discovery soon. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Hope that the engine blocks are stacked under the Lotus and not on top of it. I have a 2 year rule...if I have no need for the item after 2 years, it goes in the bin.
Cheers,
David.

I'll start lurking around your bins, then! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

ummm... "need" is a subjective term here. I "need" spare MG/Alfa/Lotus engines, transmissions etc. I've got rid of a LOT of GTV stuff, am still finding/vending more.

Anybody "need" an OEM NOS Lotus Elite wire wheel?!? Rumor has it it'll fit a TR250....

...or should THAT go inna bin? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Nah, makes a nice airhose organizer. Fit an old hub to the wall, fit wheel and knock off and it looks nice as well.
Cheers.

I'll take that under advisement, Dave... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Hey Doc, where's that great avatar of yours? Kind of like Dirty Harry with a car instead of a 44 Magnum.

- not sure if this is gonna work but seems an appropriate thread to attempt first link to some pictures...had lots of help from members on the forum rebuilding my spitfire half shafts...MANY THANKS to all of you...here we go...

if that worked I'll post some before and after pics...did I get the linkage thingy right??...or should I be doing it differently??

Let us not forget the other great beers of the day:
Billy Beer
Red, White, and Blue
Kingsbury,
Hauenstien,
etc,
etc,

all in the "under a buck a sixer" range.

And a uniquely Pittsburgh brew:

"Old Frothingslosh"!!

"The ONLY beer with the head on the bottom of the glass!"

Or National Bohehiam (NattyBo).
Or the ubiquitous "BEER" in the all white can.

'twas no idle boast! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

...Tho th' Italian bit may have been stretchin' it. Alan saw th' contents, so... can't deny it totally. But I'm just as likely to have a straw-wrapped bottle of Banfi Chianti in there as CABs.

Used to stock up on Buckhorn for the squadron parties around my pool in Tucson. I'd also pour Passport scotch into an empty Chivas bottle. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

There's the problem with home brewing beer. I no longer have time for it but I still have the taste for it. Hence the imported and micro brew selections.
