Ack its snowing

I heard Chicago is due to get what would be the earliest recorded snowfall in their history. My wife has been visiting her sister in Denver all week and decided to come back a day early becuase they are expecting snow there this weekend also (Loveland is already open for skiing!)

Stewart, that;s because you're at the wrong house! The weather in So Cal has been unbelievably perfect the past couple weeks.

Snowing here too!!! But it is up to 29 degrees.

Miserably hot here, send it down.

I optimistically bought a heavy fleece-lined winter shirt today, then walked out into the mid-90s heat.

You need to point yourself towards that sSouth Pasadena address!

We're getting quite a cold stretch here in Alberta, with some light snowfall in recent days... But then that's nothing new around these parts, there is likely a warm stretch coming up later in the month...

I just want to know when Arkansas went from being a temperate deciduous forest to a temperate rain forest! Temperatures are nice but I bet we didn't have three days last month that it didn't rain. This month isn't looking any better. This stuff better move too before the temperatures drop or we are really gonna be in for a slippery winter!

It has, terri....its here!

Welcome to our world

Woke up to 5 inches here in Fremont, Ne this morning...not done yet...they're talking about the winds kicking up and all the leafage we'll lose lots of our old trees....record snow, record temps our low tonight to be 22..this is crazy

Good thing my wife came back from Denver a day early! She just heard from her sister in Denver that I-25 is closed at Monument Colorado!

I-25 closed north of Fort Collins as well. Arapahoe Basin opened on Friday. Ski Loveland beat them by two days for first to open bragging rights. We are supposed to be back to our seasonal temps of 60's and 70's this coming week though.

Now I remember why I retired to Alabama.

Spent the weekend hunting in Montana. Broke the record for coldest October, snow everywhere. It's about time to sharpen those edges and get ready for the Ski season.
Ho Ra!!

Basil,
next time up to the crest, it's with skis.

Records falling in my wife's home state of Idaho

The Montana press is reporting that this October may be the coldest ever. Glad I went to Yellowstone a couple of weekends ago.
