That thing stopped working years ago. Unless you've got to worry about local inspections and EPA testing most folks have removed this plumbing as well as smog pumps.
take a look at the service manual like in Haynes which has several digrams depending on the year of your vehicle (look in the evaporative loss system or emission control sections)
