ABS/ TRACTION CONTROL lights on

I have a 2000 Jag S-type and this is throwing me a curve. THE SCANNER reads that it is the rear wheel speed sensor signal missing. Does anyone know of the module that is located in the ABS box that is removeable and serviceable ? Thanks for the info !!!

Have you check the wheel sensors? Do you know which one is the missing one? Check first before getting into module. ABS modules are rebuildable: modulemasters.com > bba-reman.com > proautotronics.com

It is the left rear wheel. I checked the sensor compared to the right one and seem to be the same. I also ohmed the wires from the wheel to the module and everything checks out good. I will check that site you sent me, Thanks

Try this, it has worked on some of the newer cars. Find the traction control fuse. Turn off car, pull fuse and then turn on without starting. If light goes out turn off and replace fuse and restart to running. If light stays out a reset successful if not continue your search.
