About ready for test run!

So Carla and I are just acouple of days away from the first test drive with Ellie...our 1971 MGB. Other than making sure she would start and run she hasn't been driven in 18 years. We are planning to run radiator flush and wonder if we should put the new thermostat in or just leave it out for the first 3-4 hours. What's the verdict?? Thanks
 
Don't change anything at this point. Chime it up and carefully watch th' temp gauge in th' driveway for th' first fifteen minutes. :wink:
