Back before time was, I lived on the Wirral in England. There were two places, on a breaker's yard, the other a service garage, that had Austin Sevens in them, going to rust.
Time and again I visited both, neither of the old curmudgeons wanted to sell. Eventually, both premises were purchased compulsorily for road improvements and all their cars were carried away for scrap metal value only.
Tragic!
