A young Frenchman's view of American cars....

The vast expanse of our country is difficult for most Europeans to grasp.

Just another point of view... in France it's roughly the same distance from Brest to Nice (far NW corner to the far SW corner of the country) is roughly the same distance as Miami to Atlanta... or Atlanta to Chicago. Boston to LA is roughly the same as Lisbon to Moscow, or London to Baghdad.

Kind of puts it in perspective.

Only if you've driven from London to Baghdad :jester:

Uhhg! You made me flashback to driving through LA on my motorcycle during the riots. Definitely felt exposed that day.

Providence to Boston can be either one hour or three hours. [/QUOTE]

from Greenock on the West coast to North Berwick on the East Coast ~ 2hrs. But north to south is a lot longer. It's a rally: Le Jog, Land's End- John O'Groats. 800+ miles.... Less than El Paso - Beaumont on I10, but nicer....
