Spent yesterday in the company of old, dear friends. One has a 750 Norton, bike's in bits-n-pieces currently. He's in debate with his wallet over powder coat vs. paint for the frame. We went around for some time on the topic, I even volunteer'd to shoot it with epoxy primer and black here if he'd choose to go with paint. Plent of beer 'n pizza, stared sternly at a "Norton on a shelf" a while and had a great day. Two other old cronies showed up and it was like "Old Home Week."

Any opinions on the powder coat vs. paint?

Paint...that's what we did to my Norton....methinks powder coating loses its 'blackness' over time.

How about black chrome?

Nah.....Go with original, whatever that is.

Paint is easily touched up.

My 2¢ worth.

And it smells good
