Here's a great video by Steven Kingsbury with Norman and the family and shows why it was always a treat to get Norman on the phone at BCS:

More from Steven:

"Now as for the help part. In the next couple of weeks, I am going to a meeting with some folks about doing an actual Television special covering the possible return of Steve Pike's Streamliner to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Steve hasn't finalized any plans as of yet, but if he does return, he's going to go for a world speed record with the car. And if that happens, I want to
make sure it gets recorded and broadcast out to world and this is where I need your help.I need to show there is an audience for this event. And to do that, I need
people looking at the videos I have posted on youtube. Most especially the videos "Austin Healey Return to Bonneville". All you have to do is type
those words into the search window on youtube and you will be taken to those videos. Click on them, watch them, spread the word to everyone who might be
interested and the number of views will be recorded and I will have some ammunition to show the folks that there is a great interest in this event. You don't even have to watch the entire two or three minutes per video, just
a click will do. And if you know folks not on this list who might be interested, let them know. Spread the word. Thank you all very much and I
will keep everybody in the loop as to what happens.

This is a great video. I saw it last week for the first time. If anyone who knew Norman didn't well up inside I'd be surprised. A true gentleman who always had time to help. Man, I miss him.

:thankyousign: Very interesting.

I grew up in Stockton,CA. where the Nocks' shop is located. Norman and David would always take time to show you around the place no matter what they were doing at the time...a first class operation!

As said above, both David and Norman are class acts and still expect to get Norman on the phone when I call out to ask for help on something to do with the Healey. He always had the time for you and David has followed in his large foot steps as he too will always take the time to talk to you. Wish the shop was on the east coast so I could conceivably drive over to have them work on my BN6 ! Have my Tech Tips that Norman signed when mailed to me in 2001 and always picking it up to re-read something looking for his advice. He is truly missed.
Regards,
Mike
