I spotted this car today in my inner city wanderings (I rarely go out to the suburbs

A little wide angle for fun effect here

And yes that is the correct badge, I suspect at least some of you know that... :hammer: I talked to the owner, nice young guy who purchased it about two years ago, unfortunately today he was having some issues with the cooling system...

Ever see a 1950 Meteor?
Basically a 1960 Ford....but with a straight grille, and the "bullet" cutout welded shut and filled over.....different taillights, I think, trim, chrome speaker cover......

I owned a '62 - shoulda never let her out of my sight.

Bertha, 170 ci and 3 in the tree.

Or how about a rather muscular 1950 Meteor... I probably have a front end shot of it too...

I have a ton of photos of our special Canadian cars, simply from car shows, I don't go to as many as I used to...

That's actually the American Meteor, one of the few years back then they didn't sell a distinct Meteor model in Canada... Sorry to disappoint you...

Its a 64 Mercury. My first car, a hand me down from my father. It had a 390 CID engine with a four barrel. A real highway cruiser. I remember bragging that it got 14 mpg on the highway. Mine had the (in)famous breezeway window.
