A Triumph? What can one say?

Not much Spitfire left. But, in the spirit of Basil's "About Ebay" message, I guess at least somebody had lots of fun putting that thing together, and there's a buyer for every car out there...

I can just hear Starsky saying to Hutch, "Call Huggy. We've got a situation here that he was made to handle."

I'd just be afraid that if I got a car like that, every time I got out of it, 15 clowns would climb out after me.

Hope my bid holds up. (don't want to have to paint a tear on my cheek)

Believe me, in respect of Basil's message, I am being *very* restrained.

And indeed there are 6 bids on it as we speak. Unbelieveable.

GAG... I think I was ready to vomit. It is hideous

The only thing I can think of is "WHY"

I hope the guy was going fishing and not using the OMC (boat) gas tank for the car.
Good Shriners parade car.

Hey, I'm a Shriner and I resent that remark!! LOL!!

We have a lot better looking cars and trucks than THAT!!

We have the Shriners coming to town for our next July 4th celebration. Looking forward to it. Will be the first time in many years that the nieces and nephew won't be waving from a TR.
I would resent that remark too!

Paul resembles that remark not resents it.

Don, I have a nice red Fez that I wear, thank you very much!

And the next time that you see a Shriner parade, donate to the hospital fund. It's all about the kids with us. Free care to all who qualify for what we can do. No discrimination, government intervention, fully self funded and no family or parent pays any fees of any sort.

End of commercial!

We have some very "small" nice cars, trucks and motorcycles in our Motor Corps. There are some sweet little tow trucks and Corvettes on a miniature scale that are really neat looking.

Over the last few years they have invited full size antique and collectible cars into the unit, as apposed to just the minis. I just don't have the time for it anymore and a TR6 is not the ideal candidate for a 3-4 hour parade in stop and go traffic at 80-90 degrees.

Well, that's not what I'm going to be doing with my TR6 on that kind of a day. I rarely get to enjoy them, so when I do, I take my wife and off we go together.

Almost midnight and he still has his wit.

It appears that somewhere beneath this rather remarkable "kit" lurks a Spitfire.
The trunk hinges look familiar to me! Maybe he should advertise it as "triumph Spitfire trunk hinges with a bunch of other stuff." Not exactly my idea of an improvement over the original. I kind of wonder what Toyota engine is in there and how it was installed.
