Very nice....But I wonder if some of those pre-war MG's could be considered Targa tops, the ones where the top half of the roof folds seperate from the back half(VA Tickford maybe?)
That would be the Tickford top, which was not specific to M.G. The top could be cranked various positions. One position would open the area just above the occupant's heads.
James, you're right, I was a tad optomistic on ten years. I also believe that the Targa connotation describes a removable and replacable piece of a hard top. Thanks for the Tickford Top picture Steve.
I like it! I saw one of those old Tickford tops at a show several years back...it is right up there with rubmle seats on my all-time favoritelist of old car anacronisims!
