There will be a group of us from BRRTA. Probably 8 cars +/-. WX now says cool but with 30% chance of rain. Look for my Daimler and be sure to say Hi. If the rain chance gets too much higher we probably won't make the drive from Baltimore.
I think anyone with a taste for British cars should go. Seriously though, if anyone is going I'd appreciate if you would print some BCF cards and distribute while there.
Elliott- official color is Bentley's "Black Velvet Pearlescent". We call it eggplant. It looks black in the shade and purple in the sun. We probably looked at a couple thousand brit cars at shows, looking for just the right color, when we saw it on a new Bentley at Stowe in 2008.
Need to change that. Sold the red car (63)when this one (62) was about to be finished w/5 yr resto. We don't get site changed very often. We went to TOB w/red car in either '09 or '10.
Dale- I was back and forth all morning trying to decide. I woke to very overcast conditions and predictions for scattered showers on/off all day.
My buddy with a bugeye convinced me to go and it turned out perfect... NO RAIN AT ALL! Go figure!
I walked the show a couple of times looking for your car, but I knew the rain was south of us and you probably were going to can the event.
Maybe next year as you say.
