A Shocking experience -- Pulling plug wires

Run that thing and then pull all the plugs....

Take a picture or pictures & post.

I'm betting there is something wrong with the looks of 3 & 4.

Steve,

With all that you know about LBCs, I knew that it was in jest... the 'busting chops' was in fun...

Glad to hear from you...

WhatsThatNoise,

Is it safe to assume that you mean pictures of the plug electrodes??? I will go through the procedure - below - and, if not joy, will take the pictures of the plugs....

I am going to run through a complete jet centering proceedure on both carbs, check for the piston travel and, if all that looks OK, will pull the carbs to do a bench re-check....

Based upon all of the feedback I have received... I feel even more confident that it is simply (?) a fuel feed problem... Now I need to quit talking about it and get 'er done...

I just found an article that is a pretty good step by step for adjusting and balancing the SU....

The link is... SU Synch

dklawson,

Yep.... tore 'um apart... refitted and replaced everything (cork, fiber, and rubber schtuff.... put back together, adjusted fuel and air...

Works purrrfect....

However, please note the 'Pay Attention to all the details' post from me this morning...
